Food Technologist - Research and
Food Technologist - Research and Development

Primary Responsibilities

  • Product research and testing
  • Develop product formulations, specifications and regulations
  • Product labeling
  • Nutritional analysis
  • Work closely with sales and marketing departments in developing new products and maintaining current product requirements.
  • Develop relationships with technical staffs of our customers.

Job Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in Food Science
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in product development and testing
  • Ideally, will have experience in hams, bacon, pepperoni, pizza toppings, wieners, or lunchmeat products.
  • Must be willing to work in a plant and lab environment.

Quality Control Manager
Shipping Supervisor

Job Description:

The successful candidates will be self starters who can manage a group of employees to produce a high quality product in a safe and productive manner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supervise 15 to 30 hourly employees
  • Ensure that all product specifications and quality requirements are met.
  • Motivate employees to work in a safe and productive manner.
  • Administer all company policies and work rules.
  • Meet all production schedules to fulfill customers' needs.

Job Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years supervisory experience in distribution.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work any shift.
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to work under considerable pressure.

Maintenance Supervisor
Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements:

  • At least two years of maintenance supervision experience in a meat processing environment

  • Knowledge of processing and packaging equipment is strongly desired

Skills:

  • Good mechanical and electrical skills

  • Basic trouble shooting in PLCs

  • Additional skills in ammonia/refrigeration would be a great plus

Requirements:

  • Able to direct unionized workforce of 15 - 30 employees
